SHAREAfrica UK, formed in December 2002, is a charitable organisation registered by the UK Charity Commission (Charity number 1094198). SHAREAfrica Ltd., is also a UK registered company limited by guarantee. The directors of SHAREAfrica Ltd are also trustees of the Charity.
The trustees understand the acute poverty suffered by many fellow Christians and others living in Africa. This prompted their commitment to pursue initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of these people.

Mission Statement
To assist fellow Christians and others living in impoverished communities in Sub Saharan Africa by providing facilities and services through SHARE’s in-country partners. The primary aim is to support initiatives that will reduce poverty through improved productivity and earnings.

Operating Principles
- Supporting disadvantaged Christians and Others by providing a framework of services that will accelerate improvements in livelihoods.
- Teaching skills and techniques that can be used to enhance a persons contribution to the social, spiritual and economic growth of the community.
- Creating worthwhile work that will improve peoples earnings, self esteem, and wellbeing.
- Establishing community networks that will lead to cross skills learning with people in other communities resulting in better personal and collective opportunities.
- Ensuring the environmental impact of activities is positive and that it respects the natural habitat in a way that does not jeopardize the livelihoods of others either now or in the future.
- Honouring the overriding Christian principle of love towards ‘our neighbours’.
- Treating all employees fairly, without racial or gender prejudice, and honouring the rights of the individual.
